I'm very satisfied with the website built for Moravané za Moravu. I appreciate the helpful approach, the willingness to handle every request and the overall cooperation on the project. I can definitely recommend his services to others.

The brief.

Moravané za Moravu is a non-political association that explores, protects and celebrates Moravia. They needed a site that feels dignified, can be maintained without a programmer and brings in new members.

The association only pays running costs – so the site had to run on ordinary cheap hosting, with no database and no monthly fees for platforms.

What I built.

Identity and mood

  • A night Moravian landscape, a seal and ornaments
  • Fraunces and Manrope type, a custom palette

Content without a programmer

  • Articles, events, board and gallery in simple files
  • Past events hide themselves

Member sign-up

  • Application and contact forms
  • Work without JavaScript, spam-protected

A gallery that looks like one series

  • Photos get a consistent colour grade automatically
  • Fast loading in WebP

Considered motion

  • Intro animation only on the first visit
  • Effects switch off on weak devices

Security

  • CSRF protection, time trap, honeypot
  • Locked system folders and strict headers

Under the hood.

  • No database, no framework
  • PHP 8 + hand-written JavaScript
  • Forms work without JS
  • Spam protection without captcha
  • Security headers and CSP
  • Respects “reduce motion”
