Accessibility

A website anyone can use.

The accessibility statement for this website.

A website for everyone.

I want everyone to be able to use this site – including people with visual, hearing or motor impairments, using a screen reader or just a keyboard. I follow the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

What's in place.

Control

  • The whole site works with a keyboard
  • A visible focus indicator

Screen readers

  • Labels for buttons and images
  • Proper heading structure and page language

Readability

  • Sufficient text contrast
  • Light and dark mode, text can be enlarged

Motion

  • Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion
  • Nothing flashes

What isn't perfect yet.

Workshop catalogue (PDF)

  • May not read well in every screen reader. The same information is on the Schools page.

Sample videos

  • The showreel has no speech, so it has no captions.

How it was checked.

By my own review and automated tests (Lighthouse, axe) on the main pages. The home page scores 100 out of 100 for accessibility. This statement was prepared on 13 October 2026 and is updated regularly.
